As Congress catastrophe in Nagpur in both Lok Sabha and Vidhan Sabha races in 2014 was being credited to huge in battles between two groups of the city party unit, senior Congress administration was searching for such an applicant in Nagpur who might be worthy to both the groups in the gathering. In Patole, party has evidently discovered the correct decision.

Patole has supplanted previous Union Minister and seven-term MP (six terms from Nagpur) Vilas Muttemwar as the Congress Lok Sabha applicant from Nagpur. Likewise, Gadkari challenged his first Lok Sabha races in 2014 when he vanquished senior Congress pioneer and Muttemwar in Nagpur by an edge of 2.85 lakh cast a ballot.

Previous BJP MP from Bhandara-Gondia body electorate (Maharashtra) Nana Patole joined Congress in 2018. Patole quit the BJP in December 2017 subsequent to blaming PM Narendra Modi for turning a visually impaired eye towards ranchers’ lack of concern in Vidarbha.

In this manner Patole surrendered as Member of Parliament from Lok Sabha in 2017. After he joined the BJP in 2014, he vanquished NCP heavyweight Praful Patel by an edge of 1,50,000 votes.

Patole had recently stopped the Congress party refering to carelessness of Vidarbha ranchers and challenged the 2009 Lok Sabha races as an autonomous competitor.
