Gondia: Hundreds of Anganwadi sevikas in the Maharashtra State Anganwadi Action Committee and the Maharashtra State Anganwadi-Balwadi Employees Union (AITUK) led a rally on the Zilla Parishad after arresting them and arresting themselves.

Hundreds of Anganwadi workers in the district, Aidanis, started a rally at Zistha Chowk in the city at 1 pm on Wednesday at the Zilla Parishad. Anganwadi workers involved in the rally took away their demands and blasted the existing government. After the assembly reached the Zilla Parishad office, the Aganwadi sevikas demonstrated. At this time, the ZP member Gangadhar Parashuramkar addressed the rally. After this, the request for various demands was given. Par. Chief Executive Officer Raja Dayanidhi was given. The central government should increase the honorarium declared by 1 st October 2018, with the help of Aries in Maharashtra, to be given a one-time payment to the service seekers, and to pay a billed amount of nectar food, pay the travel allowance for the payment, and fill the vacant posts of Anganwadi workers. These include those demands. After this, all Angwadi sevikas who participated in the rally, arrested themselves in front of Zilla Parishad office and organized a Jail Bharo movement. The movement was led by District President Kalpana Patel, Treasurer Mira Meshram, Secretary Rita Shahare, Hosal Rahangdale, Shankutla Fatting, Amarkaal Dongre, Vishnaval Vaidya, Ramchandra Patil, Charandas Bhave , Paresh Durgavar, Sunita Malgam, Vin Gautham, Chanchala Bhongde, Pushpa Bhagat, Birzula Tidke, Laloo Shravi Sharmagat, Archana Meshram, Purnima Chute, Kanchan Shahare, Rajlakshmi Harankheedhe, Vitha Pawar, Pranita Rangari, Manjula Borkar, Jostasan Kadadeemram, Chitralekha Doye, Sunita Rahmatkar.
