Goregaon: The Basic Guarantee Paddy purchase scheme is being started in Vidarbha region of Bhandara, Gondia, Chandrapur, Gadchiroli, Nagpur. Co-operative organizations make sure to purchase the insurance guarantee on an esteem basis. The purchasing of reservoir is kept safe in the godown, without opening it. However, due to the delay of withdrawal of power from the government, the loss of 8 kg of rice per quintal decreases.

Therefore, there is a loss to the respective institutions. Therefore, the government demanded to reduce the losses in the department, organized by a member of the organization, Recolal Tambhare, at a press conference held here. Tambhera said that after the lifting of the lease for delay in the year 2009-10- 2010-11, the paddy had fallen in the godown for 45 months.

Therefore, there is a reduction in the quantity of rice by 8 kg per quintal. It should be increased by traffic, and fray rates. Demand for CMR rice to increase by 32%. The Government has not lifted the charge for 15 months from 2011 to 2017-18. The Central Government approved 1% reduction in this. However, the state government did not sanction the reduction.

The government does not have adequate warehouses available for keeping CMR rice. So, the bargain is getting late. Government should approve the reduction in 7 years. Also, the government warehouse rent is paid 40 paise per quintal for 2 rupees but rent is given for only two months. Tambhar alleged that this government policy is wrong. The Kharif season runs for 6 months and rabbi season is running for 3 months, hence the purchase of paddy continues. Tambhare demanded that the owner should get warehouse rent till the storing of the paddy in the godown.

The press conference was chaired by Namdev Kapte, Sadashiv Khatre, Shehar Singh Nagpure, Rakhlal Tambhare, Ghanshyam Khedikar, Mahendra Mane, Damodar Misar, Ramesh Churhe and Ramesh Gautam.
