Vadegaon: Navodaya Vidyalaya administration has finally withdrawn its decision to recover the annual fees of 18 thousand rupees in the name of Navodaya Vikas Nodhi from the parents studying at Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya taking into account the increased dissatisfaction and popularity of the boycott.
According to the letter no.16-14 / 2017-NVS (SA) 234 D8 / 8/18 of Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Rs. 600 per month, Rs. 7200 per year and Rs. 1500 per month for the employees of Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti. As per the annual fee of Rs 18,000 was started from the academic session 2018-19. However, the original concept of giving free and quality education to the poor, progressive and talented students was cut out. Moreover, due to the decision of Navodaya administration, about 35000 students of 269 Navodaya Vidyalayas in 26 states and 7 Union Territories would be affected. In the country, public opinion was first published by the public on 19 November 18. The petition was filed in Aurangabad Bench headed by Nilesh Gondhane, Jitendra Dhawale. The bench, in its initial hearing, gave a stay on the Navodaya Vikas Nigam and decided to take the next hearing on March 22. But the decision to rename the Navodaya Vikas Nigam is totally wrong, and after considering the negligence of the Navodaya Vidyalaya Committee, the committee has directed that the decision be taken to withdraw the charges before the next hearing of the petition, and instructed that the students of Navodaya should not recover the charges. As a result, all the students and parents of Navodaya have an atmosphere of joy and everyone has thanked the people.
