114 cases of suicides in farmers are ineligible

Farmers’ suicides in Vidarbha are increasing day by day due to continuous napikis and debt marketability. The families of farmers who are already facing the anti-farmer policies of the government are now facing the administrative policies. In the last 18 years, out of 252 farmer suicides, 114 farmers have declared suicide ineligible. To help this, families of suicide victims are on the hunt.

Gondia: Due to continuous napikis and debt wages, the graph of farmer suicides in Vidarbha is increasing day by day. The families of farmers who are already facing the anti-farmer policies of the government are now facing the administrative policies. In the last 18 years, out of the 252 farmer suicides, 114 farmers have been disqualified from the farming. The family members of suicide victims are on the hunt for help.

In Gondia district, one farmer committed suicide every year between 2002 and 2003. Financial assistance was given to the families of both farmers. In 2004, 6 farmers committed suicide. But 4 farmers’ suicides were considered ineligible. In 2005, 6 farmers committed suicide. In 2006, 22 farmers committed suicide. Of these, 5 farmers’ suicides were considered ineligible. In 2007, 19 farmers committed suicide. Two of these farmers have been considered ineligible for suicides. In 2008, 18 farmers committed suicide. Of these 9 farmers’ suicides were ineligible to help. In 2009, 12 farmers committed suicide. But the farmers did not help in determining the suicides of five farmers. In 2010, 22 farmers committed suicide. Of these six farmers were considered ineligible. In 2011, 13 farmers committed suicide. Due to the lack of loan from the three farmers, these suicides were disqualified. In 2012, 10 farmers committed suicide. Of these 4 farmers’ suicides were ineligible to help. In 2013, 6 farmers committed suicide. Two of the farmers were suicidal in nature. In 2014, 17 farmers committed suicide. Of these, eight have been declared ineligible for the farmers ‘suicides. In 31st and 2016, 31 farmers suicides each. In both of these 21-21 farmers’ suicides have been ineligible to help. In 2017, 18 farmers committed suicide. Of these 12 farmers’ suicides were ineligible to help. In 2018, 17 farmers committed suicide. Help was rejected to the families of 12 farmers. Out of 252 farmers of suicide, only 136 families of farmers were given one lakh rupees each.

Suicide season commences

Farmer suicidal session is continuing in the district. Statistics show that there is an increase in farmer suicides every year. In the year 2019, two farmers committed suicide in January and February. The families of these farmers did not get help. It has come to be the case for inquiry.

Different reasons for disqualification

Due to continuous infertility, due to drought, agriculture is getting lost. Therefore, the farmer has to borrow a farmer. But unable to repay the loan, farmer suicides because of depression. Farmers have not been able to take loans from the bank because they are not being helped by suicide. The government is not giving any attention to the money taken on the rigors, and the farmers’ suicide is ineligible.
