Panaji ; Goa Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar died on Saturday at the age of 63. Parrikar was running ill for a long time. He was battling pancreatic cancer The President gave the information about his demise by tweeting. Earlier, the news came that their health was very serious and the doctors were making full power.

He got treatment for cancer in America, Delhi and Goa. Parrikar was also engaged in the work in his last days. In the days of illness, he presented the Goa budget and took over the work of the state.

Parrikar was admitted to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) on January 31. Recently, the sick Chief Minister had done check-up at the Goa Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) on March 3. Parrikar had an operation in GMCH in February.

A few days ago, Goa Assembly’s deputy speaker and BJP legislator Michael Lobo had given the statement that Manohar Parrikar is very sick. People have to understand that their health is not well. Lobo said that there is no cure for Parrikar’s illness. With God’s grace, he is still alive. God has blessed them to work.
