Gondia: The hospital’s chaos was over after the water level in the knee during the monsoon in the Bai Gangabai Women Hospital (BGW) hospital in Gondia. After a lot of criticism, the hospital administration had structural audit by the VNIT Institute in Nagpur of this building. The building, which was dilapidated and asked to demolish it, has been shocked by the fact that no proposal has been sent for the construction of the building even after the completion of eight months. Hundreds of patients are threatened with this type of disease.

Government has started a Bai Gangabai Women Hospital in Gondia to get immediate treatment for the poor patients in the district. The construction of the hospital was done in 1939. The hospital has a capacity of only two hundred beds and only 185 beds are available in this hospital. Therefore, if the number of admitted patients is increased, then they are admitted in hospital and other places. The 81-year period of the hospital’s building has been completed. Therefore, the building is also diluted and there are some leaks in the monsoon.

Women and small children are treated and treated in this hospital. Last year in July, the hospital’s delivery ward had water throughout the knee. So the patients and their relatives had a good run over. Some social activists in the city run to the hospital and helped to draw water out of the hospital ward. Fortunately, no untoward incident has ever happened. However, this is a pediatric baby ward, and the possibility of getting infected with the water in the ward could not be ruled out.

The hospital administration has once again been closed for the disease. Since the administration of BGW Hospital has become old and dilapidated, the structural audit should be done. For this we have written a letter to the Public Works Department from 2015. However, the construction department did not have structural audit of the building. After Lokmat had put this issue, the Chief Minister intervened and gave instructions to the District Collector to complete the report within two days. Later, the District Collector and Senior Medical Officer visited BGW and reviewed the problems there.

VNIT was selected for the structural audit of the building. The organization had submitted the structural audit of the building and submitted its report to BGW Hospital Administration and District Administration. The building in this hospital has been diluted and it is not usable. So, this building was about to be demolished. It took us eight months but still no action was taken.

It is noteworthy that the Public Works Department has not yet made the proposal to construct this building. The hospital administration is also keeping the hand on his hands.

Responsibility Public Works Department

After the structural audit of the BGW hospital was made, the report was sent to the Public Works Department. Now the hospital authorities shook their hands saying that the responsibility of sending and sending the proposal for the demolition of the hospital building is public works department.

Three officers changed

When the issue of BGW Hospital building is serious, the Public Works Department and the hospital administration are shaking hands with the responsibility. In the last eight months, 3 executive engineers of Public Works Department changed. So the officials who are currently present in this case did not know what action has been taken by the previous officials or the proposal.

Release the section and release the division

After the incident of water accumulation in the women ward of BGW Hospital, the officials of Public Works Department visited the building and inspected the building. The hospital’s building is 81-years-old and the building is two feet below the road, and in the hospital’s ward, the answer is to send water and send it to the government and administration to be open and happy to be open. A senior official of the department has confessed that no proposal has been forwarded to him and he has not been sent to the government.

Power problem persists

The alternative generators and UPSs are not yet made available in the Sonography section of the BGW Hospital. So, the work of giving sonography and giving certificates to patients was completely jam if power supply was stopped. That is why patients often have to bear the pain. Earlier this week, the Medical Superintendent of the hospital demanded to give a letter to the government medical college graduate, and to make available the machinery and machine repair machines and the generator in Shishu Ward. Therefore, the problem of this hospital is still persistent.

Women endanger the life of the patient and the child

The structural audit of the BGW hospital building has become clear. However, the hospital is still operating from this building. The hospital has the highest number of women and pediatric patients. Therefore, due to the non-negotiable policies of both the sections, women and children’s lives are in danger.

After the structural audit of BGW’s building, the report was sent to the Public Works Department. According to the report, it is the responsibility of the Public Works Department to prepare and report its report and send it to the government.
– V.P. Rukhamede, Dean, Government Medical College.

No proposal has been prepared and sent to BWD Hospital’s dilapidated building. I am aware of the fact that I am just satisfied.
