Timer took the action in the name of Operation Thunder on Thursday (Day 13) at Sakoli in Bhandara district. In this action, the team has confiscated large number of tickets and other material.
Special Task Team Deputy Inspector Vinayk Meshram, Assistant Sub-Inspector Y.G. Ramteke, Chief Reserve P. Dalai, R.C. Katre, Rakshak B. Korcham, S. S. Baghel, Nasir Khan, P. L. Patel and Special Inspector Rakshak RC Dhowe has started an on-the-spot session against illegal ticket dealers. Under this, the team has imposed a heavy duty on Thursday in Sakoli’s Nakshatra Online Services Shop. Shop owner Narendra Sudam Wadibsmeem (41) was present at the time. When the members of the team protested, they protested against selling illegal tickets. But after inspection of their computers, they got personalized and 20 bogus IDs. After three-four-hour inquiries, Wadibsme finally admitted to selling tickets through brokers to make more profit.
In this action, the team seized 81 e-Tatkal tickets of Rs. 1, 71, 624, computer set, printer, BSNL company broadband, one mobile and one thousand 520 cash. Wadibhsma was arrested. An offense under section 143 (1) (A) of the Railway Act has been registered.
