Salekasa: The taluka Congress Committee has demanded that the Chief Minister on behalf of the taluka Congress Committee should declare the Saleksa taluka as an immediate drought-affected and provide financial assistance to the farmers. According to the statement, every farmer should declare relief fund at the rate of Rs. 1 thousand per acre and deposit it in the farmers’ account immediately. Electricity supply should be given to the agricultural pump holders for one hour. Electricity connection should be given to the farmers who are demanding. Electricity bills should be waived. A bonus should also be given to Rabi crop, with a deduction of all farmers. Guaranteed prices of Rs. 3,000 are to be waived, paddy should be given to the village, Rs. 3, aid funds should be provided to the villages declared in par.

Making a statement under the leadership of Congress State Representative Sahasram Korote, former Minister Bharat Behekar, Zila women and child welfare president Lata Dodde, District Congress President Purushottam Katre, Pt.
