Adivasi various co-operatives who have been purchasing paddy in the tribal area have not been given a commission. Commissions have been demanded since last many years.
However, ignoring the government’s decision, various executive co-operatives of Adivasi have decided not to purchase Paddy in Kharif season. The Gondiya Amavasya was held under the chairmanship of District President Shankar Madavi in the mu Dhukeshwari temple hall on Thursday (Day 4). In this, the Maharashtra Government has appointed Maharashtra State Co-operative Tribal Development Corporation as the Chief Representative for the purchase and sale of farm goods and retail weavers of tribal areas as per Maharashtrian eclectic condition act. Mahamandal has appointed various executive co-operatives of tribals as Sub Agents.
Under these tribal various cooperative societies procure paddy every year through the Government Paddy purchase center. However, it is delayed to pick up the time taken to purchase the item purchased from the Maha Mandal.
As a result, the deficiency of the resulting head increases. That is why the organization is financially in financial crisis. Commodity purchases have been exhausted over the past several years. The corporation has often been pursued for this.
However, it has not been noticed yet. Therefore, all tribal co-operatives in the district have decided to purchase paddy in the year 2018-19. Even if the government does not intervene, then Shankar Madavi, Vice President Manikbapu Achille, Secretary Harishchandra Kohalhe, Director of Tribal Development Corporation Bharat Singh Dudhnag Ambora, Bhaskar Dharamshahare, Jageshwar Dhanagate, Tularam Maragaye, Ramesh Taram, Krsasagar Gopale, Pramod Sangigwar, Sukchand Raut, Rajesh Raut, Ramesh Ilpatte, Faganu Kallow, Santaram Bhoyar have given this. They have got the attention of the farmers of the district.
