There is a famous Mahakali temple at Chandrapur on the Gondia-Chandrapur road. On the Gondia-Dongargarh road, there is a temple of Goddess Bamleshwari famous in Dongargarh. On both these occasions, millions of devotees visit the place to look after their mothers. Chandrapur, Dongargarh and Dongargarh-Chandrapur (Ballarshah) trains are being run for Navratri festival.

Railway passengers are expected so that lakhs of devotees from Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh will be able to take advantage of the Darshan. Gondia is the central place of the district. Since Gondia is in the middle of eight talukas, district residents have to go to Gondia for various works.

Disadvantage of the people of Naxal-affected areas

Outside the village, Gondia residents do not have any carriage in the afternoon and they can not go back to their village even in the evening. Due to this, there are many problems faced by the people of Dareksa, Jataka, Chanakpur, Chandasurj and Naxal-affected areas. On both these routes, there is no provision of local trains in the afternoon, because citizens of Gondia have to wait for an evening train. Due to the depression of the train passengers there is no provision of local trains between Gondia-Dongargarh and Gondia-Wadsa due to the financial backdrop. It is also time wastage of waste.
