Shortage of helmets, forced for three days to be deferred in Gondia District

But in the Gondia market, due to helmet deficit, helmets will be forced from three days to late. In case of an accident, there is financial, physical and mental disadvantages of his family, wife, children, father and mother.

Police personnel die in a road accident every year along with the general public. In the accident, there are as many as two wheelers.

So the police personnel’s family is in crisis. Considering this fact, it has been decided that all the police personnel in the district have been using helmets for one month.

A special campaign was organized on September 13 regarding the use of helmets for police personnel in Gondia district.

In the campaign implemented in Gondia city, helmets were not used for driving 9 police personnel. Accordingly, under Motor Vehicle Act, each person was recovered from the amount of Rs. 4500 per settlement fee of Rs. 500 / -. Now, if the general drivers and people sitting behind those vehicles do not use helmets, they will also be taken under the Motor Vehicle Act.

Police Superintendents started helmet compulsion to burn people’s helmet. However, the helmet was forced to be postponed for three days after the Gondia market did not have as many helmets as possible, the police superintendents said.

Motorcycle Rally for Helmet Awareness

A motorcycle rally will be organized to create public awareness on helmets from the district traffic police on October 16 at 11 am to raise awareness about the Helmets in Gondia city. A rally will be held from Manohar Chowk Gondia. Rally will be removed at the main market, Ramnagar Civil line. The Superintendent of Police Harish Baijal has informed that the drivers carrying helmets should participate in this rally.
