Gondia: Goregaon Police detained two Ayurvedic doctors claiming to have survived the death of a snake bite, on Monday (Dec 15). This is due to the anger of the people of Ghoti and the doctor arrested by the police should be released immediately. Following this demand, the citizens took a march at Goregaon Police Station on Tuesday (16th) at 10 am. The Gondia-Kohhamara road was organized by the Chakkajam movement. Tire burns. So there is a tense atmosphere in Goregaon.
According to the information, the eight-year-old boy, Aditya Gautam, of Ghoti in Goregaon taluka died on Sunday (December 14th). The doctor of Bai Gangabai hospital declared him dead. Meanwhile, Ayurvedic doctor, Naveel Lillhare of Balaghat claimed to have died in 24 hours after the death of a snake bite. From Balaghat, he reached at Goregaon late on Monday night with his two other colleagues. However, once the person who has died is not living again, it is a type of superstition. So, the Goregaon police arrested Dr. Lilhare and two others on Monday night at around 11.30. So they could not reach Ghoti. The villagers of Ghoti made a protest at the Goregaon police station on Tuesday (16th), alleging that the police did not allow Dr. Lilhare to reach Ghoti. On the Gondia-Kohamara route, there was an agitation against the burning of tires. This has created a tense atmosphere in Goregaon. Meanwhile, additional police force has been asked to recognize the seriousness of the incident.
