Gondia: With the wrath of nature, it has come to bear the burden of the wrong policies of the government which has already faced trouble. The marketing department has instructed the farmers selling the land at the Government Paddy Purchase Center to open a nationalized bank account. Therefore, before the sale of the commodities, the farmers will have to go to the nationalized bank and open the account. This year, the government has announced an interest of 1750 for non-standard and Rs 1750 for general purpose. At present, light lentils are harvested and farmers celebrate Diwali after thinning the Dhan. Private merchants do not give good value to Dhan during the initial period. Therefore, they sell the money on the Farmers’ Paddy Purchase Center. However, before commencing paddy to be sold at the shopping centers, the farmers will have to open their own accounts at nationalized banks. By the order the marketing department has removed.

Most of the farmers in the district are in the district central co-operative bank. These banks do not have to complicate process like nationalized banks. Therefore, the bankers of this bank think your own. In addition, most of the peak loans are also taken by the farmers from the same bank. Therefore, they have their account at the same bank. However, due to the order made by the marketing department, District Bank did not have its own IFC code, the reason behind this is that the bank has difficulty in depositing the money to the farmers’ account.

Meanwhile, they are opposed to this order only when the directors of Paddy procurement and Agriculture Produce Market Committee (SMC) of the district are in the hands of the directors. Farmers will have to struggle to open an account with the bank keeping in view their work and hence, due to the wrath of nature, the farmers in distress have to suffer the wrong policies of the government.

Reduce the importance of District Bank

Farmers selling the money at the Government Paddy Purchase Center were mandated to open an account with nationalized banks. This has led to the rage in the farmers and it is alleged that the government has the right to accelerate the district bank.

Since the Government Paddy procurement center is confident of getting the guarantee, the farmers sell the money at this center. Most of the farmers in the district have a bank account at the district bank. However, due to the new order of marketing department, farmers will have to open accounts in nationalized banks. Therefore, this decision is unfair and should be withdrawn immediately. Otherwise, the agitation will be chaired.
– Dr. Avinash Kashivar, President of Kurubha.

Since there is no IFC Code of the District Bank, farmers’ bank accounts have difficulty in getting money. So it is possible to deposit the amount quickly if there is a nationalized bank account. Farmers can also be sold to farmers who have no account with nationalized bank. There is no compulsion to open an account.
– Pramod Humnane, District Marketing Officer.
