Gondia: In order to keep them away from childhood addiction due to the addiction of students, the District Education Department has sanctioned 1,684 schools in the district in the process implemented by the government. The students have also been given an oath that they will not allow tobacco to be near.
The incurable disease like cancer is born from tobacco. However, the addiction of tobacco addicted to the name of the time may be taken to the point of death. However, the number of tobacco smoke in the district is still on the line. In order to avoid tobacco consumption, the Nagpur Regional Commissioner had given the school the release of tobacco on 7th November 2015 for the release of tobacco. Accordingly, Primary Education Officer Ulhas Narad sent a letter to every school asking to do tobacco free school. As per their suggestion, 1,684 schools in the district have been released till date. In each of these schools, ‘Tobacco Free School’ has been written.
There are no schools cleared through the Tobacco-free Mission in the district, 214 schools in Arjuni-Morgaon taluka, Aamgaon 158, Deori 210, Gondia 409, Goregaon 159, Sadak-Arjuni 176, Sailaksa 156 and Tiroda 201 have been allocated 1,1684 schools.
