Water supply to the city dwellers is done through the water supply scheme set up in the Wainganga river bed which is 18 km from Gondia. There are 40 thousand customers in the city of Maharashtra, Life Insurance Department. They are supplied twice a day for 135 liters of water per person. However, since last one month, irregular water supply has been provided to the city dwellers.
As the rainy season ends, irregular water supply is being carried out due to which there has been a stir in the city dwellers. When contacted, officials of the authority said that he did not return the return rain this time. Therefore, the character of Wainganga river has been dry since now.
As a result, the level of water for the water supplied to the river has also decreased. Therefore, the residents of the city have been struggling to provide regular water supply.
